Do i need windows live hotmail and msn explorer?
Windows live hotmail and MSN explorer are two different things.





Windows live hotmail is just another email hosting whereas MSN explorer is just like another internet explorer.





It depends on what you need. If you want to have another email, then of course, pick hotmail, if you want to have another web browser, pick MSN explorer





You don't necessarily need both of them actually.





You already have a yahoo email or some other emails maybe like gmail, and you of course for sure have internet explorer, maybe firefox, netscape, opera or some other web browsers.





If you want to join MSN messenger, nowadays, you can also use it with your yahoo and gmail accounts that are already signed up with. So you don't necessarily need to join another email hosting to use MSN messenger.

Like what is posted above, Windows Live Hotmail and MSN Explorer are two different services.





Windows Live Hotmail is a web-based e-mail service that MSN is currently introducing. With this interface, MSN try to adapt the functionality of Microsoft's Outlook program like having a drag and drop features.





MSN Explorer on the other hand is a web browser that combines the functionality of e-mail and access to dfiferent MSN services like MSN Messenger, MSN Photos, etc.





MSN Explorer need to use MSN as the user's ISP. It can use third party ISP by configuring MSN Explorer to use the current Internet Connection. For how to, you would have to look at the Help section of the Program.

MSN explorer has no use unless MSN is your ISP. I don't even know if they offer that anymore.
