Ok on my Laptop it takes almost 5 Minuites to sign in to windows live messenger and does not load up hotmail at all where as on my family PC it works fine.
i have ran virus and spyware scans using AVG 8.0 and Others but nothing has been found. Any ideas ?

download Ccleaner,scan and delete EVERYTHING that comes up...
this will help you with your system performance and will make any scan with anti virus\spyware much faster....
After you run Ccleaner, run "a-squared Free 3.5" and see if it will find anything... (don't forget to update the program before you run it).

Reply:Well, some anti-virus software monitor incoming and out going traffic from your PC for good. So, I assume AVG is taking care of that.
