Help! my windows live hotmail wont let my type an email?

The bar is grey that has the emoticons and when i click the rich text thingy it doesnt change to the other options


what about the emoticons? it doesn't even send those! it screwed up my siggy and i cant send my mail becuase the coloured text and emoticons becomes stupid normal things.
