Why won't XBOX Live let me use a @hotmail email to set it up?

Both me and my parents emails are @hotmail.co.uk





But why does it tell me I need to use one from a different domain?





This is the error message I get...





The email address you entered can't be used to create a Windows Live ID. Please use an address from a different domain

thats because xbox doesnt suport hotmal use yahoo aol or mail.com please join my game site http://wgamesx.ning.com

make sure ur usin full stops and not commas,





and,,ermmm, i dunno, reset ur router :s
